FTP Access
From StudentDevWiki
This article involves development tools that require you to be inside of RPI's campus network.
If not on-campus, you must connect with the VPN.
FTP access is enabled by default for all accounts on the standard port, 21. Your primary login details are the same as your system login details. For example, if your username is doej hosting the domain test.myrpi.org and your password is 1234 you would point your FTP client to test.myrpi.org and login using the name doej and the password 1234.
FTP accounts can also be created from within your control panel. You'll notice all FTP accounts you create are appended by @yoursubdomain.myrpi.org, this allows us to connect your specific FTP account to your system-wide account for the sake of privileges/access control and bandwidth monitoring.
Web based FTP
If you are looking for a quick and easy way to connect to your site without opening up a vpn connection or installing any FTP software, you can use our web ftp interface available at http://admin.myrpi.org/ftp
